JG, great post. You obviously know this field much better than the rest of us. When I move back to the U.S. this year, all I know is that I want the fastest, cheapest Internet service I can get under $50 per month. I want it to install easily, not need troubleshooting and not crash more than once or twice a year.

Everyone is fighting for the pipe into the house. Hard to say if there is a killer app or magic bullet out there. When I saw AWRE's spike up and the gap in the chart, my first thought was, that gap will fill, sooner or later. They always do. But shorting during a big wave of publicity is dangerous unless your pockets are deep. I'll put AWRE on my watch list.

I see several crappy software companies missed their earnings estimates - MCRE, CYBR, etc. Could be some short material there if they don't open too far down. Last year around this time the market killed these little tykes. I remember, because I was long in a few.

What do you like long in the ADSL business? Anyone emerging out ahead of the pack that's still affordable?
