Hello John Liu: Very good subject. I have messed with four in the last 6 or so months and have observed the following. Look for insider buying and selling. Company news releases that are trying to keep the price up so the convertees get less shares per dollar. Open company communication with shareholders. Too many companies have the cleaning lady answering the telephone when shareholders are panicing. Track the short #'s. Track the number of market makers. Take your lumps if MM's start pulling the shades.
