I don't think the headquarters change is too significant. It represents the realization the revenues will be fixed at best over the near to intermediate term and reducing deficit earnings will require some serious cost cutting.

I still like this stock and believe that it is greatly undervalued. However I do not think that a CFO change is generally a good thing particularly when all indications are that the CFO decided to quit. Sometimes this happens when a CFO does not want to take an aggressive or misleading stance. I do not think this is the case with OBJS though since they have been very conservative on their financials, expensing or writing off nearly all of their software assets and have incurred very little debt. Since cash and marketable security balances are easy to measure by external auditors, there is probably very little risk that any financial misrepresentations making a major impact on the stock price. License revenues and AR balances are not the driving factor in the price of OBJS at this point as much as long term survival.

I am much more interested in what the Java tool that will be marketed to fortune 500 companies will look like and what the significant improvements are with the VisualWorks 3.0 product to be announced in February. The company is wise to focus on consulting and training to improve cash flow but the long term success of the company is still dependent on the products.
