Jeff, I think it was Brian Cohen who posted some info about Huttoe's professional investment status having "lapsed" or whatever. (anyone?) It is a safe bet that little of this is either a mistake or ignorance. I had raised that point a time or two myself about the incredible ineptitude (being generous) displayed by their mgt. at times, that these guys would do some of these things under light of day with seemingly no regard for their investors. With some small bit of pride, I think the latest crumbs thrown to us in a statement by Huttoe was a DIRECT result of comments made by people in THIS forum....ie; thanking us for our patience, good developments on the way etc.

To put a "human" slant on things? Having already made certain decisions regarding stock dilution, and knowing we'd be as mad as a swarm of hornets, this was to hold them over until the nasty little bit of truth hit the street? No way would they have admitted the stock issue, the stock price would have collapsed, and they NEEDED it to be in a certain range, for reasons not fully understood by me at this time...that is to say, the specifics of it. Stands to reason if you are going to unload a pile of stock you need volume and a certain amount of $$ to make it work. This is what is bothering me, once this needed support is gone, we could well get royally screwed....I mean BIG time. Throw this short sell scenario on top of that, which incidently I am not completely convinced of, and this is one big mess waiting to happen.
Everyone should be clear on this....if you sell it helps their goals as well, volume is needed to make this shit work. I believe that much less of OUR stock was sold on Friday than many of us may believe, I didn't sell anything, and I was LIVID Thursday....Leif says he sold, BTW Leif, you weren't holding out on us a little bit there were you buddy?
Here's my bet.....tuesday....not Monday, we will get a wonderfully optimistic press release with $$ figures and the whole bit. By that time the price may be well below $1...sorry, but that's reality IMHO.
The Fiasco Bros will be holding tons of shares (DO NOT USE REAL NAMES IN THIS TYPE OF SPECULATION ANYONE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SUED!) Old timers like me will have guffawed the whole mess, some convincing numbers will go across a table in a back room somewhere, whereby certain individuals will be EXTORTED to regain control of their company.
CEO Halter mentioned the $900K trade for services. Who is to say all of the money went to Huttoe? Huttoe may be the fall guy in all of this, and really not the villian he is being played as. There are so many twists in a bag of snakes, that you can speculate forever, but one thing is for sure, the company and it's stockholders will pay a big ticket on this, as Nucracker pointed out, sometimes the ticket is too big and the company just goes under....end of story.
These are POSSIBLE scenarios all of us should be thinking about, not dwelling on, but just aware of. Having been stripped of integrity, all you can do is to cover your ass. This is what everyone with a lick of sense is thinking about right now, YOUR needs will be for YOU to look after. (not you specifically, everybody you, ya know!) |
