Yes, the UNFI story does sounds very good. But, what's the bear story, do you know? A 6x PE means something. Does the market think the won't make $3.00 in future years? if so, any idea why? I mean this is where a deep dive may be useful. My limited dive (splash is more like it) says $18 for $3.00 of annual EPS is a great price for a food logistics company that doesn't grow at all, if it grows it's an incredibly great price. Why don't other investors agree? Historical PE was 12x? So, the market thinks in reality UNFI will only earn about $1.50 per year, thus today's price is $18, something like that? Do you know the bear story? And this stock was $8 a few months ago.
