I wrote an article about LOOP a year ago. The math doesn't work out on any value for their claims. I think the company can do what they say, just that it's a value destruction. Separating PET plastic into its constituent ingredients would cost more than making it from scratch. Loop Industries will eventually die out but so far the company hasn't run out of people to hand them free money. There are a number of option forfeitures as well. It seems like CEO Mr. Solomita is careful with the share distributions.

I don't know how long Loop has left before they vanish but the company seems to have some staying power despite what appears to be the lack of any value. LOOP might even continue trading for another ten years before hitting the skids.
