The facial expressions of Biden were strange. He came across to me as a sort of crazy grandfather who gets very upset about things and everyone has to just put up with his tirade and say "that's Grandpa being Grandpa". He must have said "C'mon man" a dozen times. I don't think it was a good look. Angry, upset, condescending and at times confused. Biden doesn't take criticism well, you could see it, no one in his inner circle probably gives him feedback in a direct way and cow-tows to his angry nature. It seemed like he was forcing himself to be angry in order to keep his brain in motion.
The President came across as nervous on the first question, but then realized Grandpa had memorized his lies and was amazed Biden could stand in front of people and lie over and over. From fracking, to putting people in cages, to corruption, to Obamacare and working in a 95% black area of Wilmington Delaware. That line about "Biden-Care" should scare the bejejus out of any independents at this point. Really, we need another Obamacare and name it "Biden-Care"!
The President was himself, I liked that. He came across as the outsider battling against do nothing folks like Biden since running for office. I think the line about "you've been there 47 years, why didn't you fix it", worked well to put Biden on the defensive.
I need to check on the 95% black Wilmington, because I've been to Wilmington a few times and don't recall it being 95% African American on the Eastern side? |
