I also would like trade and business in general to be unimpeded.

My problem with TJ was when I wrote d that business culture has been used by China to take advantage of other countries.

His line of reasoning was:
Everybody does that.
The Chinese are astute

I thought he was joking. He was not. He firmly believed on that what he wrote.

I try reasoning retorting that.
There will be a time people are going to react. For us much as they do business with and in China they are going to stop that. It would not matter how big the dealings were and how big the money we were talking about.

Countries are bound to react.

Then things start going down hill and he probably never ever believed that the situation we have today would be possible.

Today? Well, today it must dawned on him that other countries meant business and he still think that Rare Earths could be used as a weapon.

Capitalism is a force that we must reckon. It has the power to change things in ways that normal people can't imagine.

I use to say to people: The capitalism reality is much more powerful than fiction.
