#A-roundin' ThirdAndHeadedForHome, Do you you guys play baseball in Russia? Announcers will say, ""Fogerty's rounding 1st and heading for second", etc. We're playing covid ball here, so the Announcer-in-Chief says, "Turning the corner". He said it again last night, even as we set a daily case record.
The U.S. set a record Thursday as the number of new coronavirus cases rose to over 77,000, topping the previous record in July.
Nationwide, 77,640 new cases were reported for the day, up from the previous record of 75,723 on July 29, according to NBC News' tally.
nbcnews.com I use Worldometer, which only shows 74,300 cases yesterday, not quite a record.
== I've been keeping track since we began the political playoffs. Message 32984997 Here's an update, from Worldometer.
9/18 "Trump Says We've Rounded The Corner". That must mean rounding first base. Looks like we've now rounded second, and are heading for third.

Are we headed for 100,000 daily cases? Will that be when we round third? |
