I'm a "show me" person.

Show me the evidence and I will be open minded.

There are 500+ "religions" and they all think they're right.

I still don't understand why a just and loving God who determines everything would want people praising him from their knees. Repeatedly telling him (or her) how great he/she is.

And of course I call out genocides and oppression as "natural order" in a God's name. That goes for Islam, Christianity, animists and Buddhists too (For example Myanmar.)

I would hope that a true great spirit would want us improving life for all, impersonally. Doing good rather than rather than reading and reciting obedience to a specific prayer book. The volunteers at the food bank and the free clinics are GODLY. LBGTQi people are "created equal." Justice matters. Black Lives Matter, "thou shall not kill."

I like what the Dali Lama has to say. And many other religious leaders of many faiths make a contribution to humankind and the planet and universe. I just don't agree with the suspension of critical thinking for "faith."
