Zead, if I tell you that McDonald's is going to skyrocket, and you take the plunge&#151what damage have I done to MCD if they profitably miss earnings by a penny? They still made money while you missed out by listening to some guy on the net you imagined was the Hamburglar.

When you asked if I am the Hamburglar, I didn't respond. Still, you chose to believe I am. What can McDonald's sue for? Your own belief that I am the Hamburglar, thus worth listenting to despite a lack of confirmation, is not MCD's problem. Therefore, there is no actionable damage. I never specifically said I'm the Hamburglar. MCD never said I am the Hamburglar. Still, you chose to believe.

Investors (speaking in general of all stocks) are often their own worst enemies.

"If anyone deserves to be sued, it should be Dr. Iomega. Period. I asked that guy a couple of times if he worked for the company or the company knew he posted on this thread, however, he always avoided the subject. The guy acted like he was an insider even commenting once that there was "not a chance" that IOM would miss. Pressteck has sued a couple of poster on SI, I definatley think that IOM should take action towards this guy."
