Andy, I bought yesterday as if it were marginable and Waterhouse did not straighten it out overnight as I thought they would, so I'm going to margin jail today. Since they have the shares as cash I could just transfer them to another of my brokers, if they have classified them as marginable. Does anyone know if Brown & Co or Ameritrade does? Hmmm... I also bought some shares at Ameritrade as if marginable yesterday. Usually they won't let you buy more than your buying power, so maybe they do have TPRO as marginable? One trouble with Waterhouse is that you can't bug anyone in the margin dept; they don't let you speak with margin directly! And the brokers only take orders from margin. So if margin doesn't want it to be marginable I won't be able to do much: unless someone has a secret code to give me? Linda
