Hi Ditch. Dividend income is high enough, so I am trying to be more selective if I buy any, looking for a 15% total return over the following year. I have 190 shares of PRU from $66.30, 6.63%. Willing to add a little more if it goes below that. Payout ratio is low, and I expect it goes lower next year even with a raise in Feb. Last raise was 10%. LHX is in the market dog house for whatever reason. Should be a raise coming in March. Last raise a little over 13%. Started to buy too early, with a cost basis of $173.66. 119 shares so I will look to add some more when I come up with some cash. With the current dividend, getting to my 15% return, I'll need a little over $196. I think that will take a 2021 PE of 15. Current PE showing 28X. T well T is T. 4% in the hole here from $28.93. Figuring I need the dividend plus 8% to hit 15% over the next year, I will need $31.25. "Free cash flow was 8.3 billion in the quarter and almost $20 billion year-to-date." That is the good news, their debt is the bad news. Should be lower a year from now, and hopefully production and theaters get closer to normal: "Altogether, COVID had an estimated 1.6 billion revenue impact on Warner Media in the quarter." Many dividend stocks not keeping up with the market currently. If I hadn't used $4000 of my daughters Roth deposit last spring to purchase 44 TSCO at $90.64 she would definitely be trailing the market here. Surely there are more good buys here, but I haven't run across them yet. :)
