I haven't heard the tobacco connection. Makes sense. But, the public is on the side of Clinton.

The special prosecutor has too much power. This BS needs to be abolished.

In other matters, yesterday the Arkansas judge ruled against Starr to submit Lewinsky evidence in the Jones case. Lewinsky and Ginsburg failed to reach a deal with Starr. Lewinsky probably won't rat on the Pres ala Susan McDougal. If anything, Clinton seems to have a loyal inner core. I hope Clinton kicks their ass. These old fart conservative Republicans are losing ground. I sense the end of this party and it's agenda. A new populist movement is taking root. By the turn of the century we will have campaign finance reform and serious competition in politics.
