don't forget that one of WDC's strength, which arguably helped them on the run last yr was their cash. I remeber that at its peak, WDC had something like $6-$7 per share in cash, when the stock was trading in the mid-teens (before split) about a year ago. It looks like cash is now dn to less than $2 per share and going dn fast.

The charge vs earnings game so far is paying off. CNBC has been repeating that WDC beat estimates, without reference to the substantially larger than expected charge. Lets see if they tear it apart later.

WDC is too iffy as an investment right now but it should be a fun day for the traders.
