<Big tech is fed by cheap technical manpower. Trump cut the flow of cheap technical manpower..

This cheap technical manpower is paid upwards of top 10% of US wages. For example someone in mid-20s age group can get $80,000/year salary. And Big Techs pay almost double of that in Silicon Valley.

The cutting off of H1Bs has raised the prices of all existing H1Bs and green card holders. So every organization, not just BIg Tech, will have to pay more for onsite IT resources. Some organizations will find that they have to pay non-citizen IT guys more than they are paying their top executives.

Law of unintended consequences.
