Where does such imaginary statistic come from?
Go here worldometers.info and look at yesterday's numbers.
Sort by the number of recent covid deaths.
Then divide by the state population to get the per capita deaths.
List the top 10 states and tell us about the blue vs red states.

PS Even without looking at per capita numbers, a disproportionately large number of red states show up at the top of the list.
