The NATPE material says that Beast Wars is doing extremely well in the US and Canada. It says it's the #1 rated sydicated show ages 2-14 for all kids (girls and boys). Reboot scored well in UK and Can, the first markets for season 3. As for Teletoon, if that's the new Canadian channel, it could be tough because either Cinar or Nelvana has a stake in it. I'm sure programming results ultimately dictate content, but then again, YTV is a financial supporter of the show and has rights to it and they wouldn't want to give up their #1 and #2 shows to a competitor either. It is an interesting new outleet and no doubt they would probably want to have some type of CGI show to compete for viewers. Maybe they've approached them with a show, it sounds like there's a bunch of new ones in the hopper. Usually, an existing relationship would lead to more shows to rejuvenate the line-up. So they would work with Alliance and YTV to develop new shows and properties. I would guess they should get at least one new idea going with them every year.
