I think the movie 'The China Syndrome' terrified a lot of people. More recently, 'Chernobyl' and the real Chernobyl. I imagine tens of thousands of people will never go in the ocean again after 'Jaws' - I had a boss who was one. Mass fear is a powerful force. Trump is trying to deploy if, but I think far more are terrified of four more years of him.
