From my narrow view hiring in tech/IT looks strong and internship programs were not suspended just made remote. Some companies did take the opportunity to purge the ranks with a layoff, but only to immediately start hiring again. Agism is rampant in tech, skills go stale fast, salaries go up with seniority, and companies are always on the hunt for "new blood".
