You are right about SRAM suppliers vanishing. In this week's EE times, in an article about DRAM, it memtioned that UMC and Winbond are getting out of the SRAM market. As we all know last September, UMC was the first one to lower SRAM price and they basically shot themselves and they are now getting out. I believe IDT has a much better product line-up than most people think but they need to go over 1billion$ in revenue before they can say that they are a long term survivor. This is the objective stated by their president Len last year. Let's hope that they do make it.
