Trump doesn’t control the response to the virus. That’s a state by state thing as evidenced by the huge variation between states.
Yes, I realize that. I've always been a huge advocate for the states being in control over the response.

You still didn't answer my question, though. A third resurgence is happening right now, and Trump is still telling his supporters that it's all due to testing.

I'm not going to give a man who is in complete denial over the pandemic any credit for "making massive amounts of resources available to the states." That's just the federal government working on cruise control.

If anything, this man has done more to try and spread the attitude of denial across the nation. It says a lot when the 3rd resurgence is happening in the so-called "red states."

Even North and South Dakota, two states with very LOW population densities, now have the most number of COVID-19 cases per capita. (That's not due to "increased testing," by the way, since both states are below average when it comes to tests per capita.)

Trump single-handedly turned what should have been a shining moment in his president, as well as a shining moment in his struggle against China, into a global embarrassment.
