Hi Len, Jesus isn't dead in the material world. He lives in me, I talk with him several times a day. Yes, Jesus is dead in the material world to those who haven't had their second birth. With the second birth Jesus comes to live in your heart. The following was written to Christians, I mean real Christians, those who have experienced the second birth, not just talkers.
" 1 Cor 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?
1 Cor 6:20 For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body. "
" John 3:6 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
John 3:7 "Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'"
