Bill, I agree with you on the concept of over-reaction to this news, but there is no way SS/L should be a 5.5x EBITDA business (so Bernie got a *steal* last year), even with the volatility and competition and risk (to wit this situation), the franchise/technology/people gotta be worth more than 5.5x (how 'bout at least 8x?, that would be 8x $30 million EBITDA reduction= $240 million lower market cap, less than $1 per share fully diluted proforma-- sounds about right to me). I like the CIBC analyst's comment about the per share value of SS/L within the LOR package, it shows that there is a little understanding growing out there. As for his comment about perhaps taking an equity stake to "own" their way out of this current problem, I think we've covered *that* ground here ;-)
