RE WDC's CC: They also said they were still shipping on the 1.7 program and would continue to do so as long as their clients wanted them. Said they produced 40% of their own media, and that given there was plenty of media out there, they were comfortable with this number. I was surprised to hear IBM as a qual program for WDC drives. My big question was who Dell used for their drives.
