Coronavirus: This is possibly the most encouraging news to date in the race for a COVID-19 vaccine, and it’s adding rocket fuel to today’s market rally. Pfizer this morning announced the product it’s developing with BioNTech has achieved 90 per cent efficacy in Phase 3 clinical studies, prompting CEO Alberta Bourla to call this a “great day for science and humanity.” We’ll chase reaction, and let’s keep in mind Canada has an order in place for a minimum of 20 million doses of this vaccine.
