LOL, seriously Joe, anybody who even mentions that ridiculous statistic is a meathead. I really think there is something wrong with the way their brains process logic. It makes no sense.

Every politician "lies", just about every time they try to make a point. However, they make promises and predictions and mistakes of fact that aren't intentional. All of them do this. They aren't lies. Politicians exaggerate. They are trying to persuade people, because that's the job. They state opinions, which aren't lies either. They tell you what they want to do, even if they don't eventually follow through. They do this every day, all of them.

So anybody who sits down to quantify every phrase uttered by a politician -- any politician -- to come up with a number of "lies" is wasting his time. And anyone who believes there is an actual number of lies is just stupid, or mentally deranged.
