It’s a big deal. This alone would be enough to put NYC and NY/NJ into a recession. If not worse - since this would be permanent. Big businesses and tons of well paid people would be moving out. Hits the tax base, hotels, restaurants, regional real estate. They should take along the message - that’s what happens when you elect creepy lefty dictators as government.
