I have been charting for just one year so take my comments with a grain of salt. I agree with Richard about trying QP first. QP is mainly a data service, but I also has excellent charting and scanning abilities. QP is straightforward, cheap, fast and powerful. It has abilities to scan 10,000 stocks for many criteria. There are a lot of scans to find good stocks to look at here in the SI archives. The basics of charting are there to get started. The basics are important to learn first. The charting is minimal compared to MSWIN 6.5, but that is mostly due to the extra indicators. Richard has said in the past that many of the indicators are measuring the same thing, so as a beginner that may not be a real problem. I got WOW Pro 5.0, but if I had it to do over again, I would get MSWIN first.

Best Wishes,

Bob
