Thanks for the link.

A couple of quick questions on the S/A ratio, defined below.

* S/A = Shares Short / Avg Daily Volume; it may be used as a rough measure of days to cover.

I assume there is a relationship between the S/A ratio and the susceptibility of a stock to the infamous short squeeze. I guess the ratio of short shares/total shares also yields some information about susceptibility to a short squeeze and a quick gain.

Any coments on how to use these parameters?

Any thumb rule values?

Are there better ways to determine if a stock is "over" shorted or is the whole excercise just a waste of time?
