I disagree. Kids don’t live in isolation, they bring it home to their parents and grandparents who die. Viral pneumonia is not a joke. Covid is severe 20% of the time, it means viral pneumonia. The primary killer in the US is people lacking basic healthcare. The healthcare for the wealthy system means no healthcare for the poor. The country has been impoverished by trickle down pro rich approach. It is an oligarchy, not a democracy. Lots will die because they can’t afford basic healthcare, not care Trump was getting. Hospitals, just like colleges, are priced out of reach for most Americans. So they lose their jobs and health insurances tied to jobs then get sick. I am amazed the White House is still standing and was not blown up, and there isn’t more violence because millions were pushed to the brink.
