you are probably right. the key sticking point was support for the blue states that had the riots and large pension plan problems. The GOP didn't want to bailout them out under the cover of COVID, but Pelosi did. So it now boils down to Georgia. If the GOP takes 1 senator in Georgia, then it'll be a small stimulus. If the Dems win them both, then it will be a large. So asymmetric. Either a $1T stimulus or a $4T stimulus. Barbells. Either way, I don't think that's the big thing to watch. That's a sideshow compared to the potential for lockdowns. I think this economy will continue to recover and all of our bets will be good over the next 1-4 years, if the economy is left alone. But if we get lockdowns, that will be the final straw for the economy and we'll go into the Greatest Depression in history. It's up to Biden now. I hope you are right that he won't lock it down.
