What you describe has now become shockingly common. In a country like ours, that spends so much on health care and we now have to wait for critical screenings and preventative care that is used to lower our mortality rates, and why? Because the "believe in science" Democrats and fear mongering MSM have convinced everyone to ignore the scientific data in order to scare the crap out of everyone for political purposes, and now have us all focused on a virus that has a very low mortality rate for most everyone except the old and infirm. This is the very definition of the "Madness of Crowds".
