Anybody watching wine prices over time has seen the prices go DOWN. I think there's more downward pressure coming.

Even Trader Joe's who raised the price on their 2 buck chuck from $1.99 to $2,49 has dropped their prices back down to $1.99

Decent California table wines that sold for $10.99 toi $11.99 are not going for around $8.99 to $9.99

We have some Australian wines here, in particular, Yellow Tail, which goes for as low as $4.99 a bottle and its not bad.

From my experience the good wines I REALLY like are over $20.00 USD per bottle. (wouldn't mind seeing them come down in price - but wouldn't be surprised if the prices of really good wines hold steady)
