One of my long term concerns re bitcoin, of course... is that electrons will tend to disperse into the environment over time... even more so when they get help. Having some of those issues myself, this evening... with someone finding it useful to tinker with my information flows. Just not that hard to "turn them off"... If they can stop me communicating... they can deny me access to the money... I'm with you on the gold thing...
