John, I misread your post. We are generally in agreement. The main point is the ease of production and guaranteed greater efficacy of hydroxycloroquine. As this is a proven safe manufacture, and stores are easily available it is a more reliable product than naturals like quercetin. I take quercetin, but if I became ill I'd want the hydroxy alternative.
