I think 100 seems a little too lofty. As far as the PE goes, it was up over/near 100 for a long time while the price was in the 60's and before they announced 4Q earnings. I agree that the price does reflect expected future earnings- but as Ive been saying, I think AVE will destroy the expected numbers for the first couple of quarters this year. I was looking at an expected earnings chart for AVE and they were all over the place (quite a large standard deviation between estimates). At 73, though, who knows whats going to happen. It does concern me a little but Im going to resist that large temptation to sell- for now.
