What did you see in the price of CREAF that made you decide to write calls today on CREAF?

Just a gut feeling, mostly. My net cost is up at $24, and every time Creaf drops down to $17.50 I hit my margin limit, so I can't average down without adding cash to my account. (And I've lost too much in the past 9 months to stomach doing that, no matter how much I like Creaf.) So, I was determined not to miss out on the CC opportunity again. I would have written last Friday, but I expected a gain instead of a gap down on Monday.

The resistance at $20 and $22.50 looks strong to me, and about 10am when I checked the prices we had popped up to $19.50 and dropped back to $19 already. I'd seen this pattern before; Creaf often drifts down after an open like that, and either continues down all day or recovers somewhat in the afternoon. Since we're close to the expected turnaround I gambled that we'd be drifting back down, and I wrote the calls. It's 4pm now, and it looks like I might have gotten an extra 1/16 at best today. Creaf hasn't moved much from $19 all day.

Doug.
