The drums, the music and the Xecom theme song: techstocks.com
This episode is dedicated to remember the past! About a year ago evangelist Lanza in a post stated the following (Please see Message 874004 ):
Addi, you are a real hoot! I think you had better do your home work again. So far you have had two strikes. I wish you well with your investments, especially with the economy where it is. I am sure millions will agree with your investment strategy, however, others may not. Xecom is at .67. You're telling people it is worth .20. Amazing! So you pick your choice, I stand on Xecom. You tell me how much $ is in your hoice and I will allocate that much in Xecom. Let's see which stock brings the most return in 1997. Do you want to bet me? Be careful, Addi, I have told you that you are wrong on your opinion, the board is watching. Dan can be one of the judges, along with everybody else. February 23, 1997 - February 23, 1998. That is the bet. Xecom against any of your well known 10.00+ stock; dollar value to dollar value. Addi, you have been called! Let's see what you got.
This was a reply by Evangelist Lanza to my post where I had stated the stocks such as Sun Microsystems (SUNW), Intel (INTC), Microsoft (MSFT), will have much greater returns than Xecom.
Eventhough it is still not February 23rd however let us examine the returns of Xecom VS. the few stocks this reporter mentioned in that very post:
SUNW: (at the time was trading at around $25/shr) Today it is at around $48/shr: appx. +90% return INTC (At the time was trading at around $60/shr) Today it is at around $83/shr: +40% return MSFT (At the time was trading at around $90/shr): Today it is at around $150/shr: +65% return XECM (at the time was at around $0.7/shr): Today it is at around $0.16/shr: appx. -80%loss!
Evangelist Lanza, should I be waiting on 2/23/98 to receive some money from you over our bet?! |
