If you google “training aggressive / protective dogs”, you will get endless opinions.

Here is one more:
Disregard these opinions as 99.9% of dog owners AND trainers aren’t equipped to deal with such dogs.
Instead search specifically for places which train working dogs such as police / protection / military dogs. Also search for “Schutzhund training”.

These are places which don’t pretend that they can change a naturally aggressive / protective dog’s personalities. Instead they can train You how to turn such traits into something very positive by teaching You how to control this behaviour.

Look at Finn as a working dog whose job it is to protect you and your family and train him accordingly.

PS: Keeping a large powerful (aggressive / protective) dog on a leash or behind a fence will eventually prove futile. Leashes rip. Fences can be scaled. People and / or your dog will get hurt.
