It's over. All of us here hoped that Powell had things in order -- that she wouldn't risk her reputation on such an amazing theory. The fact that Trump's legal team is distancing away from her either shows that she took everyone on a fantastic ride or more likely, her evidence ended up being based upon a critical lie that wouldn't hold up or their star witness likely recanted at the last minute. As much as I'd like to see them succeed, after watching Rudy at work vs W. Bush, who had a dream team of conservative lawyers working for him, I just don't see Trump overturning the election.
