You make more money by getting in before the crowd. You also have more risk. I think it's a matter of personal investing style and tolerance for the unknown. I am a believer in high risk/ high reward. But I believe with the proper DD and healthy scepticism the risk can be minimized at no cost to the reward. I have no love for TMEX's tactics or investment style. To keep this on-topic, I am quite comfortable with my investment in FAMH and look for high returns. But I'm not expecting overnight success (AMEX listing first quarter, for example - which I consider hype). May continue this later - but have to run now. Be careful out there.
