There is every likelihood that when you get to a certain level as a presenter in these Major News Channels your income is in the 5 or maybe 6 figures a month. So if the guy in the top floor corner office makes it clear that you are "not quite on the right track" then you think carefully about your current life-style and how you may lose it and have to move to a less affluent neighbourhood, and maybe have to sell the Porsche and make do with a VW, etc, etc, etc ..... Having the Courage of one's Convictions usually takes second or third place to the aforementioned. It's only completely independent spirits like Donald John Trump who needs Eff All from anybody, who can give his $400,000 salary back to the American Taxpayers, who can then say exactly what he wants, couldn't give a f***k what anybody thinks about him, and who is prepared to DO and ACT according to his own personal beliefs and principles .......
