Just 2 more points.......

We may see slow sales in '98 if ANAD's comments are in anyway related to QCOM....."intro to dual-mode" is currently only happening in CDMA....right? Just curious...

Finally, As the DCF model showed earlier.....QCOM's value comes in the terminal growth rate.....What the heck does that mean to Joe Schmo with no finance background?

It means that a short-term skid would be a HUGE BUYING OPPORTUNITY as QCOM's stock price relies mostly on value from year 5 on.....Not the next year, the year after, the year after that and the year after that (years 1-4 for those that couldn't understand).....

This is based on Cash flows and dividing them by certain returns on debt, equity, the beta, market premium, etc.....

QCOM is a LONG-TERM STRONG BUY now in my opinion...Now that the IPR issue appears to be somewhat settled I am VERY HAPPY....However, what rate will they negotiate for the royalties? Will they change everyone's rate to date? I doubt it but ERICY and any other company without a license wants a GOOD DEAL on the IPR.....

Have a good weekend Ya'll
