suggest surfing the web regard photonics, unless you're familiar with the area, also Scientific American had an article about a year ago (I think) specifically on DWDM. They likely have a web site, maybe you can pull that of the net also. Most libraries have in the reference section a book or books that list industry associations. Check into the industry trade groups that are involved. Read the SEC filings on the SEC's website. Buy the stock when its price reflects a state of confusion, if you like the fundamentals.
