I covered this territory a couple of weeks back. It seems that there are problems with the Mavica. On an online ordering outfit, PC Coneection, they have an explicit warning:

"HERE IS A NO RETURN POLICY ON ALL MAVICA CAMERAS AND ACCESORIES. ANY PROBLEMS SHOULD BE REFERRED TO SONY @1-888-449-SONY"

Evidently, things are not so rosy using disc technology in portable devices.

Besides, the Mavica is compatible with 100% of the computers out there. Just take out the disc, and put it directly in your computer. With Vapor!, you must buy a $200 external drive to do this.
