Taro,
Well, at least most of them are well studied with an academic agree or more and cannot be considered dumb. I just don't understanding their thinking, hanging on to what they consider their better European values and thus aggressively ignoring (is that truly possible?) Trump at the best is the best I can drag out of them when his name comes up.
Well I'm no fan of Trump, as you know, so trying to defend Trump's record is often a dubious exercise. The way people are, even the well-educated will assume that my defense of anything Trump-related means I'm a full-on "Trumptard."

In any case, it'd be funny if you could remind your fellow Europeans how often they disrespect America. Even Obama didn't get much respect other than on the surface. I really doubt anyone in the world, for example, thought Obama had the balls to do something about the rise of ISIS, or the refugee crisis from Syria.

Yet when an American president does show some cajones, Europeans often react with "Yankee Go Home!"

Maybe they'll respect President Joe Biden, especially since he's the first American politician to call Brussels the "capital of the free world."
