Paul you may be right. I think if there is a big revolution in
network computer direction, things may be different for local
storage company. But as long as we use local computers IOMG is
there to stay. If the world moves to NC, Intel has to worry more
than IOMG.
IOMG will be a very successful company if they innovate storage solutions. If they can make a good amount of cash by selling zips and zaz they will have the resource to diverge to other areas in storage management, and may still have a solution for NC. I dont expect
IOMG to earns its bread and butter by selling zips. If they are to be dominant, they will have to attack the core strorage technology. I guess IOMG has smart management and engineers who will not be caught sleeping.
