Shorting stocks must be one of the most Riskiest and Reckless "Gambles" that one can get involved with on the Stock Market.

No one knows, for sure, how a stock will perform in the future. Yet there are those who are prepared to borrow a stock at a price, sell it, and then hope that they can eventually buy it for less than they borrowed it for !!!

Short selling is riskier than going long on a stock because, theoretically, there is no limit to the amount you could lose.

Seems to me one is either an investor in the Stock Market, basing those investing decisions on sound Financial Fundamental Principles, in much the same way as the "Value Investing" Icon of this Board, Benjamin Graham, conducted his stock market investments, or one is a "Las Vegas" type gambler.
