Petal I agree with you I think the set up for commodities looks very appealing. The fed tolerating more inflation in their policy making coupled with any green economy initiative gains would create a MAJOR increase in materials demand. Any ramp up in money velocity would make commodities the only game in town.

Soft commodities are a tough one to predict given your fate is usually very weather dependent on many of the commodities in the space so its harder to predict prices unless you are a good weather modeler

Currently the commodity with my largest investment exposure is lumber which is a soft commodity but it is not a long term bet and I would define as a covid play. If the sector were granted carbon credits like Tesla I would change my mind.

On the winner for the next decade this question will really depend upon the probability of what is in store for the future so there are way too many assumptions to make.

If you believe the reset would force investment into green energy and you are expecting our system is going to provide a somewhat similar quality of life in the future I would pick uranium. Rare earths would be another provided continued China tension but you are currently paying a huge premium for MP upfront and the sector niche currently being hyped up.

BTW Palladium was the winner in the last decade.
